Luminaria Ceremony’s Video Tribute
April 15 is the new and final deadline set for submitting photos and video clips to honor or remember family and friends diagnosed with cancer in a video tribute to be presented during our Luminaria Ceremony. To include you or your loved ones:
Kevin is also asking for your help in selecting music to accompany the video. If you have any suggestions for songs, please send them along.

Special Caregiver Video Added Prior to Ceremony
Prior to the Luminaria Ceremony, two short, individual video tributes will be presented. One will honor Caregivers and feature the song “You Saved Me” by Rascal Flatts. DJ Kevin would like to collect about 40 photos of caregivers, including photos of caregivers who have lost their friend or loved one, for this special video tribute. (Keep in mind, if you have helped to care for a cancer patient, in any way, shape, or form... you are a caregiver.) Please include the caregiver's name when you submit the photo. The procedure to submit photos is listed above.
"Miss Relay" will be crowned as "Miss Sweet 16" during our Weekend Birthday Bash!
Looking for information about the "Miss Relay" Contest? This year, to tie in with our birthday theme, the competition is being called the "Miss Sweet 16" Contest. Check out the Activities Information page for more information.

The April 15th Team Information Meeting includes: Campsite selection ; collection of donated items to Hope Lodge ; collection of the cardboard tubes from rolls of paper towels; scheduling of team photos to be taken at RFL.

Who can be a team leader? You can! Team leaders are the heart and soul of Relay For Life. Nothing can describe the hope that is inspired by walking with thousands of people who share your passion for defeating cancer. Because nearly everyone has been touched by this disease in some way, it is easy to find others to walk with you at your event. All you have to do is ask.
Once you sign up as a team captain on this Web site, you will be able to send out personalized emails asking others to join your team, track your team’s fundraising progress, and raise your own donations.
To help you get started, we’ve included a few fundraising tips below.
