The Family That Preys

USA Today Review

The best thing about Tyler Perry's The Family That Preys is the opportunity it affords to watch a pair of veteran actresses still at the top of their game…. Though better than most of Perry's broad comedies, The Family That Preys still suffers from excessive predictability and mawkish sentiment, which detracts from the story's believability. When the story is focused upon the formidable duo of family matriarchs, things proceed more smoothly.

NY Times Review

“The Family That Preys” doesn’t worry about how it gets from A to Z. There is no problem that a miraculous (and preposterous) plot development can’t resolve in two minutes.

My 2¢

The Family That Preys was a good title for this funny, dramatic film about relationships both good and bad. Marriages, friendships, parent child and sibling relationships are all portrayed here with comedy and drama. There are winners and losers in this movie on many level. Tyler Perry knocks another one out of the park.
