One visit to Decatur High School in Decatur GA on a Tuesday afternoon and you will see that football is still a vital sport in the lives of today's youth. It's watching the purity of football at its best; it's about the love of the sport. Forget ownership and CBA contracts this summer the players practicing and performing two a day drills are doing it for the love of the game. Make no mistake today's young players are tomorrows Drew Brees, Andre Johnson's, and Ray Lewis. Players that are stand up role models that appreciate the legacy, history and future of football.

Home of the Pirates, OurTown News had a chance to interview some of the best young athletes in the state of Georgia. They are looking to compete in region 3-AAA, as they go over unique strength and conditioning exercises to gear up for the season.
