For several months the Main Street program in Stone Mountain Village has been working to develop a new brand for the city and they are set to unveil that brand on June 10th to show it off to the city and surrounding communities.

Eighty-five year-old Annette Merritt, triumphant return to the mountain was based on her strong faith in God, belief in herself and her physical abilities. He saved a child's life in one of the most reputable national supermarket chain stores, while upkeeping its reputation named Publix Super Market, Inc.
This past February 2010, a two year old child lost consciousness after swallowing a sausage inside a Stone Mountain, Ga. Publix Super Market store, from a in-store sampler's tray. No fault on any of the parties.
Because unbeknownst to his mother, or the food server, the toddler served himself and now, needed a miracle to save his life. Screams of the mother and others gathered around, brought Kevin Livsey to the rescue.

The word "No" should be enough information for most people to understand that whatever they are seeking or requesting is NOT going to happen. In the sales industry, the word "No" only signifies the customer's lack of information.

Well you can't be further from the truth. These people are contributing citizens of our community, and they have big hearts when it comes to filling the needs in our county of Gwinnett.
On Saturday, Stone Mountain Harley Davidson held its annual 'Hogs For Dogs" in conjunction with the Gwinnett County Humane Society. They used their connection to raise much needed funds for "Man's Best Friends".

Lucerne Baptist Church Held A Celebration For Alice Wade-A Mighty Woman Of GOD
A celebration to honor Alice Wade, a mighty woman of God, was held Sunday August 23 at Lucerne Baptist Church in Lilburn.. Mrs. Wade has been the pianist at Lucerne Baptist for 20 years, a feat in itself, but she has also served as pianist and music director at Woodlong, Pine Lake, Belvedere, Lighthouse, and Peachcrest Church's at other times in her 83 years of serving God.
Ben a mechanic who just got off from a full day of work at Stone Mountain Jeep located in Stone Mountain right off Hwy 124. Stop by a Citgo store on Lenora Church Road.
He was in a hurry to get home. However what he did immediately when he pulled into the store yard, was amazing! He practiced the lost art of being "A Good Samaritan".

News about the Georgia K-12 Educational System is often bleak. In just two years, Living Waters Global Learning Center (LWGLC) has proven when the boundaries surrounding education are lifted, children excel and become gifted and talented students.
According to Beverly Jenkins, the Director of Curriculum and Assessments, LWGLC combines innovation and education, this concept carries kids beyond the expected norm. Jenkins adds The schools individual learning approach allows a child to pursue their studies and match their skills.
Jenkins explains, If a child is in the second grade and is performing at a 5th grade reading level and a 2nd grade math level then the child receives the 5th grade reading curriculum and the 2nd grade math curriculum. This concept allows the child to reach a hundred percent potential.

courses through the Georgia Virtual School (GAVS) division of the state
Department of Education. Courses for enrichment, remediation, or

Police Chief Mike Chitwood announced this morning that a reward of $10,000 will be given to a tipster who leads investigators to the arrest and successful prosecution of the people involved in shooting Lloyd Robinson Jr. to death July 20 at his fathers home.
