Country Corners CDC Inc . daycare located at 3555 Lee Rd, is only one of three Snellville early childhood learning centers that has received its NAEYC accreditation. THIS IS A GREAT HONOR!

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is the largest nonprofit association in the United States representing early childhood education teachers, experts, and advocates in center-based and family day care.

Since 1985, NAEYC's national, voluntary accreditation system has set professional standards for early childhood education programs, and helped families identify high-quality programs for their young children.

Wendy Schroeder , the owner, who took over the center on November 23, 2009 had never been involved with NAEYC accreditation. She was informed in December about the re accreditation and all that was involved. This review is done every (5) years.

She and her teachers and staff worked non stop until June to complete this huge task. In July NAEYC came for their visit and program review. It was an overwhelming ordeal, but they deemed it very necessary part to provide the best possible experience for their students, and a peace of mind for the parents.

Mrs. Schroeder reveals, "They were at our center from opening to closing. They took back all of their findings and put all of their information into a computer. We were notified on September 1, 2010 that we had achieved accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children ".
