Snellville showed universal love on MLK Day
By Tom Livsey, OurTown National News Editor,

What a sight to see people of all cultures walking together, as they walked past Snellville City Hall on Jan. 20, 2014, as they celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday.

In a combined effort, starting with Mayor Kelly Kautz, New Jerusalum Church, and Snellville Methodist Church, the citizens of Snellville, Georgia, was treated to, 'Unity in their Community'.

Georgia State Senator Gloria Bulter , iced the cake for Dr. King, as she spoked to a well represented group of Georgia locals.

Mrs. Kelly McAloon, who represents Snellville Tourism and Trade, made this observation, "What a beautiful sight to see us acting like American neighbors!"

Though the Snellville's appreciation walk for Dr. King, started from one church, and ended up at another, there was no need for a sermon amoungst the participants.
