September 7, 2013 – ALWAYS THE FIRST SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH - Breakfast at Masonic Lodge #449 located at 875 VFW Drive, Stone Mountain GA 30083 – For a small fee of $5.00 you will have “all you can eat Country Breakfast”
Food Pantry: We are approaching the 700 pound mark with our deliveries for the year to our local food pantry!! That is wonderful – especially given the rainy weather and lack of sunshine. A big thank you to Columbus and Juliana who organize all the picking and delivery.
Theatre Season tickets are now available at ART Station; visit them at www.artstation.org or call 770/469-1105 – Lewis Grizzard will also be playing (not on the Season Package); watch for dates and times.
Sunday, September 15, 2013, is National “Come back to Church” day and my Church, Stone Mountain First United Methodist at 5312 W. Mountain St. Stone Mountain GA 30083, welcomes you to join us if you do not have a Church home or are visiting in our area. Services are at 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM.
September 16, work session of the Mayor & City Council 6:00 PM – Municipal Building
Saturday, September 21, 10AM – 6PM – There will be a community outreach and wellness & health fair on the Baptist Pavilion behind the train station is the Village of Stone Mountain. The event is hosted by St. Paul AME Church. For more info, call 770 469 4995 or 678 427 6328
Saturday, September 21, 2013 – 5 PM – 8 PM – Classic Car Cruise In – Stone Mountain Village parking lot. Bring your vintage car, truck or hot rod and show it off.
Saturday, September 28, 2013, is the “Grand Re-Opening of ART Station” located at 5384 Manor Drive, Stone Mountain 30083. Come see what hard work and dedication can do. The dress for the evening is “bow ties and blue jeans”.
