Through August 25. Showcasing the cultural and creative elements of skateboarding in an interactive way, the Skate...and Create! exhibit will provide opportunities to explore skateboard art and allow you to create your own. This exhibition will showcase creativity, environmental awareness, and culture. It will engage a variety of age groups yet remain authentic to committed skaters. Kids Night Out

Dog Day at the Park | FREE
July 20 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Come celebrate National Park and Recreation Month and National Hot Dog Day at Lenora Park, 4515 Lenora Church Road in Snellville. Lizards are Leaping
July 21. Lizards are a quintessential part of summer. They can be seen sunning on a rock or fence post, scurrying up trees, and catching insect prey. Their non-threatening behavior makes them a favorite of the reptiles. Join the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center to learn more about the lizards that inhabit our part of Georgia. Discover how they use camouflage to avoid predators, make a fun craft, and go on a hike to try and spot some local lizard friends. Vines in the Garden
July 25 from noon to 1:00pm. Learn about the many versatile ornamental vines that add beauty to gardens. There is no charge for this class, but pre-registration is required by July 23. Money Management and Life Skills
July 27 from 10:00am to 11:30am. Ages 12 to 24 years. Class size is limited. Help youth succeed in every area of their lives by giving them the skills they need. Cost: $5. Brown Bag Concert | FREE
August 2 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Pack a lunch and bring a picnic blanket to enjoy the beautiful park on the square. Relax with the sounds of the islands and enjoy Scott Douglas Steel Drums. Kids will even enjoy music, crafts, face painting, and more! Vendors can showcase their business, goods, or sacks at this fun family event but must provide their own tent and proof of insurance.
