Maxwell HS of Technology invites middle schoolers to explore career options


     Gwinnett County middle schoolers will have an additional opportunity

to explore career options before they start high school. Maxwell High

School of Technology, which during the school year offers a variety of

unique programs to high school juniors and seniors, will welcome rising

7th, 8th, and 9th grade students to the Technical Education Middle School

Summer Camp. Registration is already underway for the four-day summer camp

which will take place during the week of

Monday, June 3-Thursday, June 6., from 8am to noon. Registration to attend

the camp closes on May 3.

      Participating students will have the opportunity to learn about

careers in Auto Collision, Auto Services, Construction, Cosmetology,

Culinary Arts, Electronics, Early Childhood Education-Babysitting

Certification, Electronics, Flash 2-D Game Animation, GA Pre-K Early

Childhood Education-Counseling, Graphic Communications & Design, Healthcare

Science, Law & Justice, and Welding.
