Black History Month is as American as Cinco de Mayo---So Celebrate America !

By Tricia Bailey, National News Editor,

Black History Month must be embraced by people of all colors. For Black History is not solely about Black people, but the contributions of Americans of Color. In the end, aren't we all Americans , everyday, anyway ?

Cinco de Mayo , (Spanish for "fifth of May") is a celebration held on 5 May. It is celebrated in the United States and regionally in Mexico,

"If communities and the private sector of businesses, could come together to embrace your customers' differences, there is a large commercial element to the Cinco de Mayo Day, with businesses promoting Mexican services and goods, as well as, promoting Black services and goods during Black History Month... particularly food, drinks and music" comments Tom Livsey , CNN national contributing editor.
