The Legend of Harry Potter over… Or Is It?
By Kristine Anderson,
Many die-heart fans waited anxiously and mourned their tragic loss this past Friday for their beloved wizard Harry Potter to make his final debut on screens; this would be his last edition to the saga... or would it?
Since last year and the few months that have passed, fans and author J.K. Rowling have found four main ways to keep the saga alive even after the last final reel has spun.
The number one way to relive the Harry Potter sensation is to visit Harry Potter world located in Orlando, Florida at Universal Studios. It is a great getaway for fans and family to immerse themselves within a world where you experience every word written in saga from food to foe.
"Pottermore" is next on the list, especially for those who cannot afford or visit the actual world. Though not available till October, this website allows fans to pre-register with an e-mail address allowing them access to never-before-seen material. It also allows fan interaction for those who would love to discuss it with another 'potterhead'.
A similar idea to "Pottermore" is the numerous fan fictions floating on websites like mugglenet.com allowing fans to read made up stories of the characters and/or create stories themselves.
Lastly, the Harry Potter merchandise is always an option whether to carry around and show off, or to collect personally as a reminder of the adventure. This also allows non-fans an opportunity to gather these items and later sell them for a much higher profit than they originally bought it for.
So while reading made up or never-before-seen material in a Harry Potter jacket while riding to Harry Potter world, fans will never have to mourn the end of this beloved tale.
For die-heart fans, these ideas will be a highly ideal way for the twenty-first century to keep our unique "superhero's" spirit alive.
