TYRA BANKS---AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL
CYCLE 14 "CATTLE CALL"---UNORGANIZED!!!
@
Tyra Bank's apology is less than acceptable. Though a couple of decades ago she was a well sought out model who made her way to the top. However, last week in Atlanta her scheduled auditions were no more than a "Cattle Call". She needs to get off her butt and handle her own show or find someone who can. Plus make sure these ladies are well taken care of when it comes to their personal comfort issues.
The mayhem in New York is just a taste of other disgruntled hopeful models in upcoming cities. The auditions are handled by uninformed obnoxious, self concerted security staff. Most without any ability to know how to handle a large crowd of nervous and tried beautiful women.
Nothing has changed for Tyra's Cycle 14 Audition Procedures...
Tyra's camp does not provide refreshments to those in line for over two to nine hours. Its not necessary to provide breakfast or a full coarse lunch, but water coolers strategically located along the long lines of participants and a few peanut butter crackers would go a long way in keeping these girls in a better mood, without their stomachs growling, and their shoulders slouching, not to mention improving their irritable attitudes.
They should be informed to wear comfortable shoes and clothes, while in line. They should be able to dress into their formal wear, in a timely manner, once inside the complex, instead of standing in six inch pumps and a dinner dress for hours on in.
And you wonder why they are so irritated and have a lack of their real personality once in front of the judges. They need to have several show assistants to walk up and down the long lines, and provide motivation, smiles, jokes and suggestions to many of these nervous first time models, too!
However, unlike American Idol, the actual judges are present in every city that they hold an audition. If its six to eight cities .....Simon and Randy are always present. For 95% of those who fail to make the final cut, at least they can tell their friends and family that they at least met a celebrity, no matter how rude they might be treated.....Apparently Tyra is too good to travel and judge these hopeful models, herself.
If you are determined to be present at the next "Cattle Call" in Chicago, here are somethings to keep in mind....Most importantly, take care of yourself and remain as comfortable as possible.

Tyra Banks, the host and producer of " ' Americas Next Top Model </go/rl9I-kRRMBr/http://americas-top-model.sequd.info/>", has released a statement regarding the mayhem caused by the show's audition in New York City on Saturday, March 14. In a joint statement with producer Ken Mok, the supermodel says that they are "concern" but promise to proceed with the audition for the 13th cycle.
"We are concerned by the events that occurred Saturday afternoon in the vicinity of the New York City casting call for the next cycle of America's Next Top Model," the statement on The CW official site read. "At this time, we still don't know all the details of what happened or what triggered the incident. We appreciate the efforts of the NYPD and will assist them in any way possible in this matter."
The chaos happened mid the audition and the police was forced to shut it down when things were getting out of control. Many hopefuls, some of whom have camped overnight, were disappointed of not getting a shot at the casting. To this Banks responded, "To all the 'Top Model' hopefuls who were affected by the New York casting, we are doing everything we can to make sure that ALL the girls who weren't seen, get an opportunity to audition."
"We'll update you on our plans very soon. It is so important to me to redefine beauty, and make sure that everyone gets a fair chance to pursue their dream. I am beyond excited for Cycle 13." The show is admitting women below 5′7″ to participate in the new season. "I encourage each girl to come out ready to rock the runway and show off their fiercest pose," she continued. "I'm rooting for all of you!"
Meanwhile, Manhattan police are blaming the show for not organizing properly and failing to notify them when the crowd got larger. "The producer of the show didn't notify the NYPD, so there were no cops specifically assigned there," a police official told the New York Daily News. "They needed to alert the police before the event."
