We have received calls relating to suspicious persons approaching the elderly and vulnerable in our communities. Reports indicate that these persons have been offering services to remove dangerous trees or do repairs to property which are not necessarily required.
These people can be persuasive, convincing and persistent.
Please be cautious of entering into agreements for work on your premises or parting with money without first ascertaining the credibility / identity of the caller.
To help the police prevent offences and intercept potential offenders, please report all suspicious activity as soon as possible to police.
