    Seaford Town Council are pleased to announce that they are inviting applications from voluntary or community groups providing a service or activity for the benefit of the residents of Seaford to apply for a small grant. In 2012 we helped 35 organisations. Applications forms may be obtained from the Council by contacting the Corporate Services Manager, Simon Cooper at 37 Church Street, Seaford, BN25 1HG or by e mail simon.cooper@seafordtowncouncil.gov.uk.     Seaford's talented Rock and Jazz Orchestra -- a group of 30+ players aged 9 - 25 -- are playing a charity gig to raise funds for Seaford's Lifeguards. This surf-rescue and beach-patrolling group do valiant work all summer in Seaford Bay. They are highly trained, working with RNLI and HM Coastguard, and always need funds to buy and maintain their hi-tech equipment and run their training programme.
