Who would have ever thought that the cost of one gallon of gas would be over $4.13 a gallon? I remember gathering $2 in spare change under the seats in my car, in high school, to put in my gas tank. If I can recall correctly, I think gas was about .70 a gallon and that wasn’t too long ago either. That precious $2 would give me a quarter tank of gas. I could drive on it for a week.
To sum it up, Edith Bunker style, “Those were the days….”
I put $30 in my tank on Sunday. It gave me a quarter of a tank of gas. I wonder if that can last a week. Between running kids all over, working, and making my trips to Wal-Mart, probably not.
