(Monday, September 29, 2008) Nampa City utility bills can now be paid on-line, saving residents the price of a stamp, or the expense of gas to drive the payment downtown. New accounting software allows residents and businesses to create an account, pay bills, view bills and view their account history. E-billing is also available for those who prefer receiving their bill in an email instead of through the mail. Those who sign up for the E-services can communicate directly with staff through email and can receive email alerts and communication regarding city services and their utility bills.
“We are very excited to offer customers the opportunity to pay on-line,” said City Treasurer, Deborah Spille. “This is something our customers have requested for several years, now with this new software system we are finally able to offer this much requested service.” Those who wish to pay on-line can go to www.cityofnampa.us/eservices which will take them directly to the initial payment page, or they can go the general City website at www.cityofnampa.us and click “pay bills on line” at the bottom of the page.
To set up an E-account you will need your account number from your bill, the first and last name on the bill and an email address. When your E-account is successfully set up you will receive a confirmation by email.
The Nampa City payment site is a safe and secure site. Payments made on line will take up to three days to process.
