Senior Homeowner's Tax Relief Program
Tuesday, February 24 - Homeowners Tax Relief Program 2009-02-24 00:07:17

This program is open to qualified homeowners who are age 65 as of Dec. 2008, or Social Security disabled. The application dates are 2/1/2009 through 5/15/2009. Application can be made weekdays from 8:20 AM to 4:40 PM at the Office of Assessment & Collection in Town Hall, 41 Center St. Income limits apply, and proof of your CalendarYear 2008 income is required. A presentation and informational session regarding the Homeowner's Program and other benefits available to senior taxpayers will be held at the Manchester Senior Center on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 10:00 AM. New Session for Government Academy
Upcoming Manchester Government Academy 2009-02-27 01:04:03

The 14th session of the Manchester Government Academy has been scheduled to begin on Thursday, March 12, 2009 and will conclude with a graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 21, 2009. The sessions are mostly held on Thursday evenings beginning at 6:30 p.m., with one session on Tuesday evening.

The program is free and anyone 18 years or older, living or working in Manchester is welcome to apply. While seating is limited, applications received first will be given preference. Applicants will be notified of acceptance approximately 2 weeks prior to the start of the program. Others will be placed on a waiting list for a cancellation or for the next class.

Please submit your completed application to Tricia Catania, Manchester Government Academy Coordinator. If you have any questions please call 647-3102 or 647-3126.
