The Most Fabulous Nightclubs in Vegas

From Las Vegas, Nevada - The Strip

Excessive, exciting, luxurious.

Like most things done Las Vegas style, the nightclubs are no exception. There are plenty to choose from and most are so decked out you really can't go wrong. However, here are a few recommendations depending on what you’re looking for.

If you want the ultra luxurious, elegant but hip, nightclubbing experience, I would highly recommend Tryst at the Wynn or The Bank at Bellagio. Both of these hotels are top notch and their clubs are just as gorgeous, if not more!

Tryst is a beautifully designed nightclub with a 94 foot waterfall and lagoon as its magnificent centerpiece. The music is anything from hip-hop, Top 40, 80's and rock. General admission at Tryst is $30 for guys and $20 for women. Dress code is upscale, which means no oversized jeans, no hats, sneakers, T-shirts, shorts or sandals.

The Bank, located at one of the best hotels in Las Vegas, the Five Diamond rated Bellagio, is everything you would expect. Crystal chandeliers, a layered dance floor encased in glass. Elegant but contemporary, it is one of the most impressive nightclubs in town. Cover is $30 for men and women are free. Upscale nightclub attire.

If you want something a little more trendy, maybe one of the celebrity hot-spots, check out LAX at the Luxor. They are always hosting some celebrities birthday party there, including Pamela Anderson, Nicole Scherzinger of Pussycat Dolls and  Christina Aguilera. Decorated in reds and black, it has a kind of darker, mysterious feel to it. $30 men, $20 women. Fashionable nightlife attire required!

Want a really wild time? We have our own Coyote Ugly hot spot here at the New York-New York. Just like the movie, the bartenders are hot and like to jump up on the bar and start dancing. Ladies are allowed and encourage to join them, and if you're feeling really frisky add your undergarments (bras only) to the collection!

You definitely should check out Voodoo at the Rio. Take the glass elevator up to the 51st floor and enjoy one of the best views of The Strip. There is a fabulous outdoor deck with a bar, DJ and room to dance outside in the moonlight! Inside they feature live music and some great cocktails mixed by some of the best flare bartenders in town.

There are plenty more to choose from, but these are few favorites.

Here are a few tips from the locals:

*If you don’t want to spend a fortune on cover charges or hours waiting in line, I highly recommend buying some passes ahead of time. Especially if you want to be free to go club-hopping without completely draining your wallet just getting in the door. Contact me at acalacin@ourtown.com for more details!

*If you accidentally end up with only your sneakers and you need to find some dress shoes quick (I have personally seen this happen several times!), there is a Ross Dress for Less located toward the north end of the Strip. There you can find a decent pair of affordable shoes to get you into the club. They also have slacks, button up shirts, tops and skirts, plenty of stylin’ wear for your night out.
