INDIANAPOLIS Two West Lafayette women were among 10 winners of the fourth annual Celebration of Hoosier Women Artists competition. Genevieve Borden was named a winner for her work titled Migration. Catherine Riley was also named a winner for her work titled Sunflower.
LAFAYETTE -- The Jazz Club presents the InterPlay Quartet in concert April 11 from 3-6:00 p.m. at Adelinos Old World Kitchen, 112 N. Third St. InterPlay includes local artists Ned Boyd, Lynn Colwell, Judd Danby and Don Nichols, and features Danbys original jazz works and spontaneous group improvisations.
LAFAYETTE Painter Jeff Klinker will give a painting demonstration in the Fowler House Garden Room from noon-4 p.m. at the Fowler House Garden Room.
The title of Klinkers presentation is From Field to Finish.

LAFAYETTE -- March 20 marks the first day of Spring and Lala Gallery & Studios first ceramic workshop of the year. Chicago artist Jay Strommen will be teaching a full day workshop at Lalas studio Saturday, March 20 from 10 a.m.5 p.m.
LAFAYETTE -- While the big game itself is old news, the commercials are not: the impact of Super Bowl advertising is in full swing. According to the 200 Tippecanoe County high school students who participated in the Drug-Free Coalition of Tippecanoe County Super Bowl Survey, while alcohol ads were widely remembered, they did not place in the top three favorites among youth, as in past surveys.
