Fresh fruits, vegetables, kettle corn, lamb, beef, pork, free range farm fresh eggs, flowers, honey, dried herbs, baked goods, arts and crafts are all examples of items available at selected times during the 2009 Market season which runs through the end of October.
Joe Peters will be performing at the Lafayette Farmers Market Saturday, May 30 from 7:30 a.m.noon. Peters plays guitar and writes contemporary folk songs with both international and domestic themes of current and historical events, social concerns and well as relationships.

BY KAYE MALONEY. Members of the Higher Ground Dance Company have raised $25,000 from their performances during the past three years. And they havent kept a cent of the profits. All of the funds raised at the groups performances are donated to charity and the past few years theyve been given to the Andrea Rizzo Foundation.
