LAFAYETTE – Tippecanoe Child Abuse Prevention and the Lafayette Beauty Academy are joining forces to provide free haircuts to local youth in preparation of the new school year.

The annual Back to School event will be held Saturday, Aug. 11 at the Lafayette Beauty Academy, 833 Ferry St., from noon to 2 p.m. Haircuts will be available to children age 4-18 and no appointments are needed.

Adults must accompany children who are receiving haircuts, organizers said. After the haircut, children can have a “back to school” photo taken with TCAP representatives. For additional information, contact 765-414-7073 or tippecanoechildabuseprevention@hotmail.com.
