LAFAYETTE – Indiana University Health Arnett announced this week that Alfie Diamond, MD has joined its family medicine department.
Dr. Diamond began seeing patients at IU Health Arnett Family Medicine in Monticello on Aug. 13.
Dr. Diamond received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at St. Francis Family Medicine in Indianapolis.
Dr. Diamond decided to specialize in family medicine after working with a small town family medicine physician in rural Indiana during medical school. The physician at that practice cared for the whole family with patients of all ages and was even treated like family by his patients. Dr. Diamond hopes to have that same close relationship with his patients. In his spare time, he enjoys running, being outdoors and spending time with his wife, Polly.
