LAFAYETTE - Tippecanoe Arts Federation is seeking nominations for the 2012 Bravo for the Arts and John Corey Awards.
Nominators must be current member organizations of the Tippecanoe Arts Federation. The deadline for nominations is Sept. at 5 p.m.
The Bravo Award is given each year to a business that has made a significant contribution to an arts organization by making a financial contribution, an in-kind donation, or providing volunteers for the organization.
The John Corey Arts Leadership Award is presented each year to a person who impacts the community by exhibiting leadership in the arts. The recipient of this award regularly demonstrates their commitment to the arts and advances the role of the arts.
The awards are presented at the Bravo for the Arts, an annual event presented by the Tippecanoe Arts Federation to thank the community for its contributions towards the arts and recognize the impact that their efforts make. The date for this year's Bravo for the Arts will be Oct. 10, at the Four Points Sheraton. Registration begins at 11 a.m., and the event will start promptly at 11:30 a.m.
Nomination forms are available online for both the Bravo Award and the John Corey Award .
Activities of the Tippecanoe Arts Federation are provided, in part, with support from the Indiana Arts Commission, a state agency, with funds from the Indiana General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts.
