LAFAYETTE – The Lafayette Redevelopment Commission is accepting proposals from private developers for the sale and redevelopment of approximately .81 acres of land now through Wednesday, Aug. 22.
The property, formerly known as Midwest Rental, is located at 506 Brown St. north of downtown Lafayette, in one of the community’s oldest historic neighborhoods.
The commission, in partnership with Centennial Neighborhood Investment Group LLC, and Lafayette Urban Enterprise Association is seeking development proposals of the site with market rate owner occupied townhomes in an architectural design(s) reflecting and compatible with the historic style of the neighborhood.
