WEST LAFAYETTE – The West Lafayette boys’ tennis team captured the West Lafayette sectional title and advanced one round in regional competition.

During the sectional, which happened Sept. 26-29, the Red Devils defeated Central Catholic in the first round 4-1. West Side went on to defeat Lafayette Jeff in the semifinals 4-1 and then defeated Harrison in the finals 3-2.

West Lafayette then moved on the regional tournament in Kokomo, which ran Oct. 3-6. The Red Devils defeated Logansport in the first round, but then fell to Carmel 5-0 in the second round.

West Lafayette finished its tennis season 10-7.
