YWCA receives two grants from The Community Foundation

From Lafayette/ West Lafayette, Indiana

LAFAYETTE -- The YWCA of Greater Lafayette was awarded two grants from the Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette.

The first grant was for $548 for dance bars for the youth dance programs. The second grant was for $14,950 for the roof at the main building.

“Our dance program now has 320 dancers and we needed to expand our dance studio space to meet the needs of the growing program,” said Debi DeBruyn, executive director of the YWCA. “Funds for the roof come at a critical time since the gym roof needs completely replaced and the rest of the roof requires urgent maintenance. We are very thankful to the Community Foundation for their generosity.”
