LAFAYETTE -- On April 23, Club NewTone will be a proud sponsor of the “Feets of Hope” 5K Run/Walk event to raise funds for Royal Family Kids’ Camps.
This is the first regular event to raise funds for this great cause. The Royal Family Kids’ Camp serves abused, neglected, and abandoned children in Carroll, White, Tippecanoe, Howard, Clinton, Cass, Benton, Fountain, and Montgomery counties.
Royal Family Kids’ Camp is a national organization with individual, local representation in the Delphi area. Royal Family Kids’ Camp is a one week residential camp, where these special children get to experience lots of new opportunities and spend the week with other children in similar situations, instead of feeling rejected and different.
Every year in our area, hundreds of children are removed from their homes and placed in the foster care system because of severe abuse or neglect.
Some of their lives may never be salvaged, but the Royal Family Kids’ Camp can help re-shape their lives and give them hope. Royal Family Kids’ Camp is 100 percent funded with donations. The “Feets of Hope” 5k event on April 23 will take place at 11 a.m. at the Tippecanoe Amphitheater.
