LAFAYETTE – Joe Buck Yourself, The Goddamn Gallows, and James Henry and the Low Blow will perform at the Lafayette Brewing Company at a show starting at 9 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5.
The once anti-Nashville based Joe Buck gained notoriety as the guitarist of Th’ Legendary Shack Shakers. As Hank III’s villainous sideman onstage, the snarling upright bass player became infamously recognizable. Joe Buck Yourself is now a bona fide evil, one-man band. Bringing his unique blend of hellbilly punk rock, this ain’t your grandma’s hillbilly music.

The Goddamn Gallows began on a cold, dark and violent night in Lansing, Mich., when three kids met in a face-scarring fight with Benton Harbor gangbangers at a notorious East Lansing flophouse.
They then migrated across the country, residing in Los Angeles squats and smoke stained apartments.
They then found Avery, a fire breathing washboard player who also plays accordion; and Jayke, former mandolin player for the .357 string band who also picked up a banjo. They are currently ravaging the states with their unique sound of furious, twanged-out, punk rock, Americana gutterbilly. Watch for them on corners, clubs and city jails in your town.
