LAFAYETTE -- Greater Lafayette Commerce and Raintree Medical Park is hosting its grand opening and ribbon cutting adjacent to St. Elizabeth East Hospital on Hatke Drive at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20.

The new facility is adjacent to St. Elizabeth East Hospital with the newest building located at 3781 Bayley Drive. Raintree Medical Park will offer 7 moderately priced lots to pave the way for Lafayette’s newest comprehensive healthcare area.

In addition to celebrating the medical park grand opening, a new access road, Hatke Drive, has also been opened. Hatke Drive offers ease of access to Raintree directly off of St. Francis Way. The location is also great for commuters with access to I-65 and SR 38 nearby.

The developer, Gary Schroeder, boasts build to suit facilities in the new 9000 square foot medical building that will be ready for lease or purchase spring 2011. Raintree is already the new home for Dr. Knutson, Dr. Penman & Dr. Shinn, physician colleagues of the new Premier Healthcare for Women.

The goal of the park is to create a first class work environment, a smart location for changing medical services in Lafayette and create ease of access to St Elizabeth East and Unity Healthcare campuses.
