LAFAYETTE – WAZY-FM (96.5 FM) will be hosting a telethon for Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Bowl for Kids’ Sake 2010 Friday, Feb. 12 from 6-10 a.m. 

What is the Telethon for?

100 percent of the money raised from Z96-5 WAZY's telethon will go towards Bowl for Kids' Sake 2010 goal of $60,000.   All you will need to do is call in and make your donation.

In return, you can request any song you want to hear (as long as we have it or one of our sister stations have it) and pick from the prizes below (depending on the size of your donation). For example, if you donate $10, we will play whatever song you request, even if it's from Lady Gaga, Def Leppard or even Elvis.

We will also give you a $10 gift card to Moe's Southwest Grill. That means you really get your money back and get to hear your favorite song on the radio., all for donating to the children in your community.

What is Bowl For Kids' Sake?

Bowl for Kids' Sake is about having fun to help kids. This signature fundraiser with a 2010 goal of $60,000 provides 20 percent of Big Brothers Big Sisters operating revenue. Bowl for Kids' Sake is a local fundraiser so 100% of the money raised by the bowlers stays in the Greater Lafayette community and directly benefits local children.  If you would like to start a team and start raising money please click here .
