LAFAYETTE -- Danny Weiss, local saxophonist and clarinetist, will be performing on Saturday, June 6 from 7:30–9 a.m. at the Lafayette Farmers Market.
Jeff Pearce, a consummate musician and composer, will perform from 10 a.m.–noon. Based in Indiana, Pearce is well known to the ambient/new age music community for his unique approach to the guitar and Chapman Stick. Whether playing intimate acoustic music or crafting deep space drifts, he composes music which uniquely combines melody and mystery.
Fresh fruits, vegetables, kettle corn, lamb, beef, pork, free range farm fresh eggs, flowers, honey, dried herbs, baked goods, arts and crafts are all examples of items available at selected times during the 2009 Market season which runs through the end of October.
