Riggs Community Health Center recognizes missing children campaignMon, 20 May 2013 11:26:16 EST
LAFAYETTE -- The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), in partnership with Riggs Community Health Center, will be observing National Missing Children's Day this year by participating in the national Take 25 child safety campaign. An information drive and ID kit distribution will be held the week of May 20 at the centers facilities located at 2316 South St. and 1716 Hartford St.

Rokita signs Working Families Flexibility ActFri, 19 Apr 2013 13:46:06 EST
WASHINGTON -- U.S. Rep. Todd Rokita, a member of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, recently voted in support of the Working Families Flexibility Act (H.R. 1406) during a legislative markup of the legislation by the committee. The bill allows employers to offer private-sector employees the choice of paid time off or overtime pay for overtime hours worked.
