Cycle Smashes Into Eatery Restaurant on Ninth Avenue

From Kitchen Sink NYC

Eatery, the Hell's Kitchen restaurant where a motorcycle jumped a curb and smashed into its front window Sunday evening, was open for business as usual Monday.

The biker and three others were treated for minor injuries at the nearby St. Vincent's Hospital after the accident. Witness Julian Garcia, 45, told the Daily News a yellow cab "sideswiped" the motorcyclist, causing the bike to crash through the window at Ninth Avenue and 53rd Street. Garcia also told the News that a table fell on a customer while she ate.

A day later, diners were sitting outside the Eatery Restaurant, with the boarded and taped window in the background.
