The Canaan Caring Cans for Christ Food Ministry
Distribution Set For Saturday, May 22, 2010
On Saturday, May 22, as The Canaan Caring Cans for Christ Food Ministry will
conduct its fourth food distribution to families and individuals in need of short term
assistance.
The May 22 distribution will again feature food boxes purchased through Great
Food For All, a faith-based non-profit organization that assists food ministries in
purchasing high-quality food items at minimal cost. Our emphasis in the May
distribution will be on Senior Meal boxes, and on Breakfast Boxes for families
with children.
How can you help?
The May order form is attached. You may purchase any of the selections
for your family. We will be taking orders beginning Sunday April 25,
through Camp Meeting week, and concluding on Sunday May 1. Our
Ministry receives a commission for every directly-sold item.
How can you really help?
Make a tax-deductible donation of either $28.00 or $20.00 and “adopt”
a family or senior who is in need and will be at our May 22 distribution.
Nearly 150 families and seniors were served at our February
distribution.
