That's what Cincinnati will become, at least as far as the Internet is concerned if we are chosen to be Google's test city for their new ultra-high speed broadband network. The new network would offer internet speeds more than 100 times faster that most Americans are used to and allow us to download things like feature-length high definition moves in 5-minutes or less.

It has some business and medical benefits as well, but who cares as long as we can download Avatar in under 5 minutes...just kidding of course.

The New York Times featured an article on the team and Sister Rose Ann on its front page this morning. "Since Sister Rose Ann Fleming became the schools academic advisor in 1985 every men's basketball player who has played as a senior has left with a diploma.

This is in stark contrast to overall statistics in the NCAA where 19% of the tournament teams have graduation rates below 40%.

Were not here today to mourn a University of Cincinnati heartbreaking basketball loss and it was a heartbreaker.
A 54-51 buzzer-beater against West Virginia Thursday night.
Todays a day to think of UC sophomore Dion Dixon. With six-plus seconds to go in a tie ballgame at Madison Square Garden, well, the best way to say it he coughed it up.
He booted the ball on a dribble. Turned it over to the Mountaineers and bang, DaSean Butler banked one in at the buzzer a threefor the win.
But back to Dixon.

Used tire?
Antonio Bryant answers to that. Hes the newest Cincinnati Bengal. A wide-receiver who had his last chance in Tampa Bay with the Bucs.
Last year he was reduced to 39 catches, 600 yards and only four touchdowns. OKhe was coming off a torn cartilage operation in his left knee.
Again used tire.

I had been wanting to see movie and never quite got around to it before.

It was really very good. It is a very clever take on the two main characters that bring them up-to-date and appealing to a 2010 audience. Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law as Sherlock and Watson were unconventional, never boring, and overall excellent. The film made me wonder why Robert Downey, Jr. received no recognition at all by the Academy Awards people.

I got a chance to see the show last night and didn't know quite what to expect. It is an Alfred Hitchcock murder mystery, but bears no resemblance to "Psycho" or "Rear Window." It is a 1930's era murder mystery, screwball comedy filled with spys, twists, clever dialogue and lots of laughs. The four member cast is superb and the very cleverly staged show is delightful.

Anyway, Ellen said that she has over 4 million followers now on Twitter, but that she thinks we should all put down our cell phones every once in a while and actually focus on whats importanther show.
Ellen was joking of course, but she does have a point. In this world of electronic communication and the quick message, we are losing something.the ability to communicate with one another in a polite, well-spoken, grammatically correct way. And forget about good spelling. That appears to be lost forever.

If you have lost your car in a pothole lately and want to report it, here is how you go about it.

The best way to ensure that a pothole gets repaired in a timely manner in the City of Cincinnati is to call the City's customer service line and report them. The festivities begin on Friday and end on Sunday.

In the 1800s, Cincinnati was one of America's most prolific brewing cities. Cincinnatians drank more beer per capita than any city in the country, and Over-the-Rhine was at one point home to more than 18 breweries. A tradition developed among the breweries to release all of their bock beer on the same day. Bock beer is a rich, complex, robust lager that marks the end of the Winter brewing season and the beginning of Spring.

The premise of the show is this: The audience and three guest stars are shown film clips of a married couple in the midst of a long-standing disagreement. The guest stars give their opinion of both the husband and wifes stance on the subject, and finally, The Marriage Ref, Tom Papa, gives his verdict of who should win the argument.

This could be Cronins last year on the bench as basketball coach for the University of Cincinnati.

After Saturdays 74-68 disgusting loss to West Virginia in Morgantown which buried the Bearcats NCAA hopes -- CinciPulse.com learned from an informed UC source that although Cronin received a contract extension last June for two additional seasons, the extension can refuse compensation. And, yes, UC would only owe the fourth-year coach just one seasons pay.

The source said, We need a coach at UC. That statement alone spoke volumes, without any prodding and with games remaining against Villanova and Georgetown, well, Cronins future as the Bearcats coach looks bleak, at best.
