You didn't get mad when the Supreme Court stopped a legal recount and appointed a President in 2001.
You didn't get mad when Cheney allowed Energy company officials to dictate energy policy.
You didn't get mad when a covert CIA operative got outed.
You didn't get mad when the Patriot Act got passed.
You didn't get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us, and we were lied to about the reasons.
You didn't get mad when we spent over $600 billion (and counting) on said illegal war.
You didn't get mad when over $10 billion in cash just disappeared in Iraq.
"Net Neutrality"... We were pleased this week when FCC chairman Julius Genachowski took a stand for "net neutrality and said the FCC would prevent broadband carriers from limiting access to high speed Internet for things like Internet-based voice calls, video streaming, and legal file sharing.
Genachowski said the FCC will begin to formalize Net Neutrality rules in the United States. He also called for an end to the practice by the internet service providers such as AT&T, Verizon and Comcast that prevent consumers from accessing Internet content that they consider competitive, such as music and video content downloads.
Now that the Banking, Insurance and Auto crises are past, it is time to put our efforts where they will really do some good. Here is a meaningful, targeted tax reduction which will draw bi-partisan support !
