WHAT is JUST Community Youth Leadership Institute?

JUST Community is BRIDGES for a Just Community’s signature youth leadership development program for high school students in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky metropolitan areas. JUST Community gives students the opportunity to live and interact with a diverse group of people. Students and advisors from different ethnic, religious, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds experience the power of building and working with a diverse team. Delegates work to build a community based on inclusion, diversity, and justice for all.

WHO attends JUST Community?

● High school students in grades 9 -12

● Adults advisors and volunteers who have experience teaching diversity and inclusion. WHAT do JUST Community delegates do?

● Leadership Training

● Experiential Activities

● Recreational Activities

● Workshops

● Discussion Groups

● Win fun prizes! Delegates who attend the entire camp experience will be eligible to receive an award.

WHEN is JUST Community? ● June 1-4, 2013

● JUST Community is a residential program requiring delegates to remain for the entire Period of 4 days/3 nights. WHERE is JUST Community?

● Camp Joy Education Center, a residential camp in Clarksville, OH, near Wilmington College. ● Transportation is provided both to and from JUST Community. ● The campus is accessible for students of all abilities. HOW much does JUST Community cost and what does it include?

● The only cost is a $15 non-refundable registration fee. Checks should be made payable to BRIDGES for a Just Community. ● All meals and snacks are provided. and e can accommodate specific dietary requests.
