The Downtown Dash & Block Party at St. Xavier Church began in 2007 as a block party for the entire community with the 5K run being added the following year.  The event is non-profit with all proceeds benefitting downtown organizations that assist and/or educate those in need.  Proceeds of the 2012 Downtown Dash will benefit the local efforts of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.  We will also have a SVdP Trailer onsite at the Dash before the race.  Bring your gently-used items and help us give back!
RACE

 Race entry includes a tech shirt and Cincinnati’s first “Green” runner’s packet
 Individual entries – $25**
 Teams of 5 – $100**

 Online registration ends at 11:59pm on Wednesday, August 1st
 Onsite registration is available on race day beginning at Noon. ($30 per individual; $120 per team)

BLOCK PARTY
 The Block Party features some of Cincinnati’s favorite food, beverages, and live music!
 5:00pm to Midnight– Block Party, Music & Food
 6:30pm – Kids Dash
 7:00pm – 5k Race
 9:00pm – Dash & Triple Crown Winners announced

 2012 vendors include: Avril-Bleh & Sons, City Cellars, Taste of Belgium, Graeter’s, assorted desserts, and a variety of adult and kid-friendly beverages.  Live music by Cincinnati’s favorite horn-charged rock & sould band, Second Wind.
