I hate to bring up what for many of us is a painful subject, but Memorial Day is just around the corner and swimsuit season is about to start. Every year when I begin my hunt for a new bathing suit, I think maybe this is the year that I find that perfect suit that takes 2 inches off waist while making my boobs look young and perky. I know it’s out there somewhere, I just have to find it.
On that optimistic note, how about these beautiful suits that I found while browsing the internet. I have to warn you they are pricey. After all, miracles don’t come cheaply.
The first is a beautiful Tommy Bahama Fiori di Mare one piece bandeau swimsuit for $147 at Nordstroms. Makes you think of the Italian Riviera. I’m going to try this one myself. Maybe that ruching at the waist will take away those two inches. http://bit.ly/LPKVsG
It has a matching coverup also at Nordstroms for $98. http://bit.ly/K4sAqn
If I ever actually lose those two inches at my waist, I am going to try this Ralph Lauren Deauville stripe from Bloomingdales http://bit.ly/JEuHCV. It is too cute. The good news is that the top and bottom are sold separately for a better fit. The bad news is the top is $91 and the bottom is $56.
On the other end of the two piece spectrum is this cute little bikini from Forever 21 http://bit.ly/JnA5v0. Again, both pieces are sold separately, but one piece is $10 and the other $9. It might not last forever but then neither will that cute little body you will need to fit into it.
Don’t despair plus sized ladies. You don’t always have to wear the plain black suit with the little skirt. This Robby Len floral print from J.C. Penney’s is a pretty print and the faux wrap look is slimming http://jcp.is/Jif9RI.
Last, if you just want to cover everything up, this Kenneth Cole Reaction coverup from Macy’s is only $58 http://bit.ly/JGUbyM The colors are beautiful.
So adjust your attitude, paste a smile on your face and get out there and get yourself a swimsuit.
