Xavier University men’s basketball attendance cracked the top 40 in NCAA Division I for the first time in school history this past season. XU ranked 39th in the official NCAA rankings with an average of 10,155 fans for its 16 home games, which translates into an impressive 99.1 percent capacity at the 10,250-seat Cintas Center for the 2011-12 season.
Xavier has now averaged over 10,000 fans for its home schedule five years in a row. In fact, XU has averaged 10,046 fans per game at its on-campus home since the building opened for the 2000-01 season. XU has sold out 109 games in 12 seasons at Cintas Center, including 10 this past season.
Xavier has rewarded its loyal fans by winning 88.5 percent (162-51) of its games all-time at Cintas Center.
The Xavier Ticket Office has mailed out renewals to season ticket holders. The remaining available season tickets will go on sale beginning this summer at a date to be announced.
