Xavier will be running against the some of the top competition in the state as it takes part in the All-Ohio Championships this weekend at the George L. Rider Track on the campus of Miami University.
The Musketeers will compete in the distance events and men’s pole vault on Friday. The running events get underway beginning at 5 p.m. with the women’s 5,000-meter run. The 10,000-meter run will complete Friday’s events. The pole vault is schedule to begin at 3 p.m.
Xavier will compete in four field events on Saturday and nearly all of the running events. The Musketeers’ final event will be the women’s 3,000-meter steeplechase, which begins at 3:45 p.m.
All of the top athletes that helped Xavier have a record-breaking meet at the Stanford Invitational return to competition this week. Last weekend the Musketeers competed in the Sea Ray Relays.
The Musketeers are looking to improve on last year’s team finishes. Xavier finished eighth in the men’s events and 10th in women’s events
