Mayor Mallory's office reports that Cincinnati's streetcar project has been given the highest recommendation of a $15 million state grant.  The streetcar project received the highest score and the grant is the largest amount of any new project in the state.

The final approval of the state grant will not come until May and there is a public comment period between now and final approval.   When the streetcar project receives the state grant, that should be helpful in obtaining additional federal funding.
