The first week in May, all of us who have waited in line to cross the Brent Spence Bridge, will be given a chance to give our opinion on the latest proposal for the replacement of the bridge.
Two open houses are being held that are open to the public. The first is on Wednesday, May 6 from 4-8p.m. at the Gardens of Park Hills on Dixie Highway in Northern Kentucky. The second meeting is on May 7 from 4-8p.m. at the Lincoln Recreation Center on Linn Street in Cincinnati. You will be able to hear from the project team that is studying options for the bridge and see illustrations of the plans under consideration. The most current proposal is to keep the current bridge for I-71 traffic and build a new bridge just west of the current bridge for I-75 traffic.
