IT’S MARDI GRAS TIME! And since most of us won’t be able to make it to New Orleans, we can still celebrate here at home. MainStrasse Village will celebrate Mardi Gras this weekend, Friday, February 20 and Saturday, February 21. 

 The party beings at 8:00 p.m. on both nights in the MainStrasse Village Entertainment Tent in the Fifth Street Parking Lot. Don’t miss the Big Head Parade on Friday and the Grande Parade on Saturday. Both parades start at 9^th Streeet and Willow Run and proceed east on 9^th Street to Main Street anad north on Main Street to 5^th Street. Friday night’s parade is followed by music with Kristen Key on Friday and Forehead on Saturday.    Tickets can be purchased in advance for $12, $20 for both nights. Advance tickets are on sale at www.mainstrasse.org.  Beginning today tickets can be purchased at MainStrasse bars, but get there early. Only 6,000 tickets will be sold for each night. You must be 21 years old to purchase a ticket.
