You must be pretty computer savvy, after all you are getting your news from the Internet. If you spend a lot of time online, you can't help but have noticed the explosion in social media. Personally, I'm not sure how I feel about people knowing where I am and what I am doing every minute of the day, so I am not particularly comfortable with Twitter. And anyway, I can't help but wonder about people who have nothing better to do than to read about my eating a baloney sandwich for lunch or the fact that I am bored, why would anyone care.
I read about an award winning prototype for a new product today that I thought I would share with you. It is called the "Twoddler" and it allows your toddler to Twitter. According to the website, Twoddler, the Twoddler is a way for the toddler, through his activity on a toy, to "keep in touch with mommy and daddy."
In their on-line message to toddlers, the developers have posted the following:
"To twoddle, use an adapted baby activity center. To send messages to mommy and daddy, just play! Your activities will be posted on your twitter account so your parents know when you are playing and thinking about them. To contact your friends using another Activity board, just play! Your activities will be displayed at your friend's Activity Board.
I'm not sure how I feel about baby's twittering, but it is certainly a clever idea.
