OVER-THE-RHINE — Employees of Ernst & Young recently provided sack lunches for people who cannot wait in line for their mid-day meal because of their job.

The project is part of Our Daily Bread’s ministry of food and hospitality.

Volunteers such as the group from Ernst & Young have helped by donating supplies and. preparing the sacks with nutritious, ready-to-eat meals. The Ernst & Young employees made 200 sack lunches and provided 900 deviled eggs for Our Daily Bread’s lunch line.

Our Daily Bread is an OTR ministry of hospitality made up of paid staff and volunteers dedicated to serving the needs of the neighborhood and those who frequent the area.

The organization listed the sack-lunch project as United Way of Greater Cincinnati’s Community Care Week efforts.
